MARU Credit privacy notice

How application information is handled

Effective 14 July 2026. This notice explains the information collected through our application and callback forms, and how it is used.

Information MARU Credit collects

When you submit the enquiry form, we collect the details you provide: your name, phone number, the loan product you are interested in, the amount, and your security — a vehicle logbook or land. Depending on what applies, we also collect the car's type and number plate, a description of the land, the school name, or the vehicle's price and deposit. There is no account to create and no password to set.

How information is used and shared

Your information is used to assess your enquiry and follow up with you. We share relevant details with LoanDisk, the loan management platform MARU Credit uses to process applications. MARU Credit may contact you by phone, SMS or WhatsApp about your enquiry. Final credit decisions and terms are subject to MARU Credit's assessment and a written offer.

Documents

The website does not collect documents such as your national ID or collateral paperwork.

Payments

The website does not collect any payment or payment-reference details. Any fees are handled directly with MARU Credit once your application is being processed.

Cookies and how we measure our advertising

If you arrive at marucredit.com through a tracked link (for example, from a radio, TV, billboard or online ad), we set a first-party cookie that records which link brought you here and links it to a random session identifier — never your name or contact details at that point. This cookie lasts 90 days and lets us tell which advertising actually leads to a submitted application, so we can measure cost per lead honestly. If you go on to submit the application or callback form, that session identifier is stored against your enquiry so we can attribute it to the right campaign.

With your consent (see the banner shown on your first visit), we also use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel for audience insights and ad optimisation. Our own records — not Google's or Meta's — are the source of truth for any figure we report internally, such as cost per lead. You can decline these at any time; declining does not affect your ability to submit an application.

Job applicants

This notice covers the loan application and callback forms. If you are applying for a role at MARU Credit, a separate notice covers what the careers application form collects and how it is handled — see our recruitment privacy notice.
